Forwarding  & Tracking

What is package forwarding?

With The K-Addy's package or parcel forwarding service, we provide you with a FREE KOREAN ADDRESS to receive your purchases. Simply ship your orders directly to our warehouse. Once your shopping spree is complete, notify us, and we'll consolidate your items for safe and efficient international shipping to your doorstep anywhere in the world

What is package consolidation?

Ever order a bunch of stuff online and end up with deliveries trickling in? Package consolidation is combining multiple packages from different stores or even from the same store with separate deliveries into one big shipping box. This means you only get one delivery instead of several, saving you time and often money on shipping costs.

How can I submit a shipping request?

Log in to your account and navigate to the "SHIPPING REQUEST" tab, then click on the  "NEW SHIPPING REQUEST". Fill out all the information. Enter "n/a" for any fields that you don't have information for.  If you have other requests or instructions, enter it in the 'Additional Details' section. We'll then process your request and send you an invoice within 2 to 5 days.

What shipping options can I choose from?

Our primary shipping partners and default couriers are  EMS Korea Post and EMS Premium. We will choose the more cost-effective option for you. If you prefer alternative couriers such as UPS, FedEx or DHL, please indicate it in your shipping request. Note that the rates quoted in our shipping fees table apply exclusively to EMS Korea Post. For other courier options, we will provide a separate shipping quote.

What is actual weight and volumetric weight?

Actual weight is the weight of a product without any box or packaging.

Volumetric Weight is a method of measurement calculated using the dimensions (length x width x height) of  packaged products.

Why does volumetric weight matter?

When it comes to global shipping, how much space a package occupies (volumetric weight) in a cargo hold is just as crucial as how much it weighs. Large packages, even if they are light, take up more space. Hence shipping companies factor in the volumetric weight. If the volumetric weight exceeds the actual weight, volumetric weight will be the default chargeable weight.

How long will it take for my package/s to reach me?

It depends on your shipping option and certain circumstances. EMS and  EMS Premium  averages 5 to 10 days to reach most countries. Korean domestic deliveries usually takes 2 to 3 days. Please note that delivery could also be delayed because of certain circumstances like customs procedures or severe weather conditions.

How do I track my package/s once it has been forwarded?

We update the status of your Shipping Request  to 'Shipped'. Check your 'Messages' tab for the tracking number. We'll also share a link to the courier's website for international tracking.

How do I track a shipment sent via EMS Premium?

EMS Premium is an international courier service connected to UPS. The tracking number will be transitioned to a UPS number, which we will share with you as soon as we have it. Once the package reaches the destination country, UPS will take charge of the final delivery

Do you ship to addresses in Korea? (domestic shipping)

If you'd like to request this service,  add  'Domestic Shipping' with the Korean address in the additional details box when you fill out the 'New Shipping Request' form.  Please note that we charge a forwarding fee of US$8 per package in addition to domestic shipping cost which is between $3 to $6 for regular sized boxes.
